This time it's setting a custom domain on this blog which is the problem. Trying to do so, leads me to this:

OK, so there is some sort of maintenance going on - I'll just try again tomorrow. Well, that was yesterday, and the problem still persists. Doing a quick search online didn't yield any official information about the situation. What's going on?
The search did, though, tell me that the situation had been the same since Sunday, four days ago. If anyone knows of a place to get official updates about problems like these, I'd love to hear about it - but my searching skills weren't good enough to find anything like that...
Update: I did find a page for this known issue, and an update on the same issue. Also, I found a slightly more technical known issue post on Google Groups. However, they weren't easy to find unless you knew where to look.
I still think there should have been a link in the screenshot above to the known issue, and a link form that to the technical page (which there weren't). Also, an update every few days isn't really good enough. Some people report their blogs aren't available at all due to this. They deserve a few updates a day in my opinion.
